The best Registry office in Norfolk
Norwich Castle
I LOVE Norwich Castle, it’s probably my most photographed venue.
Registry offices can feel a little samey sometimes, but not Norwich Castle….It is a castle after all!
Both the ceremony rooms at the castle are lovely, but where it really shines is outside, where the opportunities for photos are pretty limitless. Confetti across the bridge, group photos in the garden and a stone’s throw from the city centre to create some unforgettable memories.
A stunning venue in the heart of the city
The Assembly House
Other than the castle, this is probably the most popular Norwich Wedding Venue. And it’s not hard to see why. Not only is the building itself stunning, but the food is amazing, and the staff (massive props to Jamie and the team) are some of the best I’ve ever worked with. Every wedding I’ve photographed at The Assembly House has been amazing, fun and unforgettable.
If you’re thinking about getting married in Norwich, then the Assembly House comes highly recommended.
unique doesn't do this venue justice
The Flint Room
What can I say about the Flint Rooms…Lesley & Trich have turned this venue into the most unique venue in Norwich, and possibly Norfolk as a whole. It really is a wonderful place and is ideal for couples who want something a little different.
From the outside this looks like a pretty standard church, but inside it’s a whole different story!
If you’re looking for something a little unusual and totally amazing, then I can’t think of a better place to have a wedding than the Flint Rooms in Norwich.
The Georgian Townhouse / The Plantation Gardens
The Georgian Townhouse is a wonderful place to hold a wedding. Everything about it just works. And to add to its brilliance is the Plantation Garden is just a short walk down the road, which is easily one of Norwich’s best hidden gems. It’s always good fun to lead the couple and their guests to this stunning, hidden garden.
fOR THE MUSIC LOVER
nORWICH aRT cENTRE
As someone who has watched more than my fair share of bands at the Art Centre, I’ve got to admit I get a little too excited when I am asked to shoot a wedding there. It’s a really fun space and has everything you’d expect from a venue like this. You can even exchange your vows on the same stage countless bands have played on
If this venue is good enough for Nirvana, Oasis and Coldplay it’s good enough for your wedding!
Stunning Hotel in the Historic Tombland
the Maids Head hOTEL
Situated right next to Norwich Cathedral in Tombland, this hotel is one of Norwich’s oldest buildings and one of the best Norwich Wedding venues with its classic and regal look and feel.
While the Maids Head can be a little limited for photos themselves, we have all of Tombland immediately outside and the stunning Elm Hill. The perfect spot for group & couples photos.
A timeless hOTEL IN THE CENTRE OF THE CITY
st giles hotel
Dating back to 1852, St Giles Hotel is one of the most stunning venues in the city. If you’re looking for a classic hotel venue with style and class, this is the wedding venue for you.
With its choice of beautiful grand rooms and reception areas, this is the perfect venue for small and large weddings.
Full of character & history
Dragon Hall
Another stunning and unique wedding venue in Norwich (we are spoilt). This venue has everything – It mixes history and modern architecture perfectly. I’ve photographed several weddings here, and they have all been epic!
The Perfect party venue!
The Oaklands Hotel
Every wedding I’ve photographed at the Oaklands has been so much fun. There something about that place that just encourages outrageous behaviour (in a good way!)
honorable mention
The Cosy Club
While not a wedding venue, it’s a place that’s held plenty of wedding receptions, and it’s one of my favourite spots in the city. This popular venue has a range of rooms (including a vault!) that are ideal for wedding receptions, large and small.
And the staff are pretty amazing (I’ve got a lot of time for this amazing venue).
