Right I don't even know where to begin, if you're thinking of booking Matt, seriously do it, this man is amazing. I couldn't list a single thing that wasn't fantastic about him. On first meeting, he was professional, friendly, got our vibe, got what we liked, listened to us and instantly felt like a friend. In the build up he was in touch, made us feel we could contact him, gave us suggestions just everything you could want. On the day, well you can see how this is going to go. He was perfect. He was respectful and kind, he was funny, he helped when I needed people and couldn't find them. He made changes when I suddenly decide to cut some of the 'formal photos' list me and my husband had asked for, because trying get the right people together was like trying to heard cats. But he could see I was getting worried and just understood exactly what I needed. And on top of that, his photography is gorgeous. I saw these previews and I just cried, having always felt self conscious Matt gave me the photos I didn't think I could get. Honestly you will never ever regret having Matt, if you want the best photos to remind you of your wedding day, he's 100% the one you should be booking. Thanks Matt, for everything

Matt made our wedding day so special, he delivered the most candid, beautiful pictures that really captured all the fun had by all. He was so relaxed and just snuck into the background. Everyone said they barely even noticed he was there. As a couple he eased us into our shots and was a lovely, approachable guy. Thanks so much Matt we are so glad we chose you. Matt took photos for us at our wedding in July 2022. He was absolutely great! In the run up to the day he had a big chat with us about his approach and asked us what sort of thing we were after, and was always happy to answer questions on email too. On the day he was so brilliant - he really made me and the groom feel relaxed the whole time, and took loads of photos of our friends and family having a great time, as well as things like the formal photos, ceremony and speeches, which was exactly what we wanted. I normally feel really uncomfortable having my picture taken and hate how I look in them, but he made me feel really at ease and not awkward, even during the prep when I was having make up done. We really love the photos he took, they bring back so many great memories of the day. Can't recommend him highly enough! Thanks Matt.

I couldn’t have been happier with every aspect of Matt’s service, right from first contact through to the final photo’s and delivery. He was friendly but professional, attentive but not intrusive and even managed to capture mother in law smiling. Matt shot our wedding day and the photos are just phenomenal, we're both so happy with the whole gallery and the comments from friends and family have been glowing. Throughout the process, Matt was excellent in communicating with us, getting a feel for our interests and how we'd like the photos to be shot. It was super easy to get all invoices paid up and get the show on the road! On the day, Matt was superb. Friendly, approachable and utterly hilarious, he really made it such a fun time. We're not the types to take many photos so it was a bit daunting to have so many in such a short space of time, but Matt put us at ease and made it easy. I'd recommend him to anyone, without a second thought!

Matt was very professional, friendly and unobtrusive throughout my daughter's wedding. He put everyone at ease and took some amazing photographs. Would 100% recommend.

We couldn't recommend Matt more highly, we had a small wedding and hate being photographed so we didn't give him the easiest task but he smashed it! He got our vibe from the first phone call, nothing was too much trouble, he was great with our family and friends and we adore the photographs he took. He made our day and the lovely way the USB stick of photos he sent us was presented really topped off the feeling that he's a thoughtful guy, thank you so much Matt.

Matt made our wedding day photography fun and stress free. He even managed to get some candid photos of my husband smiling rather than looking awkward like he usually does 😆 our walk around the city after the ceremony was lovely addition and the photos inside the Royal Arcade and on Elm Hill were absolutely stunning, even despite the rain! We honestly couldn't recommend Matt enough, in the lead up the big day he kept in touch and discussed the finer details with us so that everything ran smoothly on the day, which gave me one less thing to worry about. All our guests have had so many compliments for the photos, which is just testament to Matts skills!

Fantastic! Matt is a lovely chap and a very talented photographer. Throughout the process we trusted Matt completely on what to do, when to get involved and that his photos would be amazing. So many of our guests complimented him afterwards, and we can see why. When he needed to get involved (group shots and the ceremony) he was there, when he needed to be in the background, he was and captured great snaps throughout. We received a lovely note after the day with a USB and selection of prints. A really special touch. Can highly recommend Matt to capture anyone’s special day and add some light creativity for a really magical touch.

Matt was amazing!! We had a dream wedding in a castle and every photo taken gave a true reflection of the castle, our family and friend's and of course us. Matt listened to what we wanted and delivered exactly that... natural photos that told our story, it didnt even feel as if he was there and everyone shared how fab he was. Would Absolutely recommend Matt... awesome!!!

After checking several photographers websites we were really pleased with what we saw when we came across Matt’s. The way that he had captured the groups and couples in his pictures was just what we were looking for and thus we got in touch. Matt came across incredibly professional but also very friendly and easy to talk to. Discussions were had over the phone due to the Covid restrictions at the time, but even though we were unable to meet until nearer our wedding date Matt remained available to our questions and to give advice. Meeting in person a couple of weeks before the wedding Matt made us feel very comfortable and at ease - not something that was easy for us as neither my wife or I are particularly fond of having our photo taken, but the way he planned to proceed with angles, his presence on the day etc put us at ease. In the build up to the wedding we had concerns about photo opportunities that would be available due to limitations with building work taking place at our venue so Matt went down to visit the location in his own time to scope it out and look at what was available to make the most of it. On our wedding day Matt was so much more than just our photographer - he was a PA, checking on the schedule with the venue, keeping things running to order, locating guests for photos etc. He was always available for any request, stayed with us and our guests for more of the day than we could ever have expected and did so unobtrusively, just blending in with the background. Matt's preference was for not too many formal shots, but we did ask for a selection and the quality of them were superb. We were delighted with the outcome. The candid photos were wonderful to look through on our online gallery that was with us incredibly quickly after the wedding. His eye for detail and the shots he thought to take were lovely. To complete our experience we were delighted when we received our USB in a wonderful personalised presentation box that also contained hard copies of our photos. We were delighted to find Matt and would highly recommend and would definitely use for any future family events.

Matt was extremely professional and very friendly throughout our day. He put myself, my wife and all of our wedding party at ease. Matt was our wedding photographer and perfect job he did! He went out if his way to make us comfortable, only took photos that we asked for and was just lovely through out the day. From our initial chats through to our wedding evening, Matt was very easy going and a pleasure to work with. Matt listened to our ideas and what we wanted and we can really see this in the photos. Matt used as much of the grounds of Sprowston Manor as we could which produced some amazing shots as well as capturing some great shots throughout the whole day. We are so pleased with the finished pictures and the USB and personalised decorative box was an unexpected but lovely touch. I would highly recommend Matt to anyone.

We cannot recommend Matt's services enough. He was absolutely wonderful on our wedding day and we couldn't feel more lucky to have had him with us. I've had multiple guests compliment his work and his attitude. The photos we've had back so far are beautiful and I'm very pleased with them. I'm normally very uncomfortable with other people taking my photo but Matt was incredibly easy to talk to and had a great sense of humour which helped massively! We couldn’t be happier that we chose Matt as our wedding photographer. We enquired with Matt initially because we were so impressed with the quality of work on his website portfolio when we were first planning our wedding. We were also really over the moon with the price of his services compared to other photographers. For the amount of work Matt did on our big day and the results we have ended up with we really are so ecstatic and we wouldn’t even think recommending any other photographer to anyone other than Matt. When we first contacted Matt to enquire his availability, he offered to come to our house or meet at a mutual place and meet face to face to have a no obligation chat which we thought was a really nice personal touch instead of just doing everything on the phone/email. Another thing that made us book Matt was his general persona, as soon as he came for a chat at our house we knew we wanted Matt as our wedding photographer there and then. Matt is a really nice chilled down to earth guy who you can also just have a great chat and laugh with as well as work alongside. Matt also done a pre-wedding shoot for us in a scenic woodland location, we did leave this slightly last minute so we’re so thankful that Matt was able to be flexible and fit us in for this. The outcome of these photos were so so beautiful. I honestly could not fault ANYTHING about Matt. A blooming incredible photographer and have absolutely no regrets about booking at all. So many of our guests at the wedding complimented Matt to us afterwards. The outcome of our wedding photos are simply amazing and I’m so so thankful for everything. Matt kindly uploaded our gallery online after the wedding for us and family/friends to access - and in such a quick timeframe, I thought we would be waiting for at least 6 weeks for so many photos but it was under a month! A couple weeks later Matt then sent us our photos on a USB and a load of prints (didn’t realise we would get prints too) in a beautiful personalised box. Matt was there from when I was getting ready in the morning all the way through to the evening, so covered all of the day which is exactly what we wanted. Another thing we loved about Matt was when we first spoke to him he explained he doesn’t have a set ‘religious’ timeframe he stays for like other photographers do. He works around your day and tailors his time around you, he will stay until he knows he has enough photos and has covered all the evening action - and he certainly did just that. I was also really thankful that Matt captured some photographs of my younger brother at our wedding who hates having his photo taken due to his autism. Matt was so slick and discreet my younger brother didn’t even know he had photos taken of him but I’ve now got some photos of him at our wedding as a lovely memory that I didn’t think I would’ve had before. We are very lucky and blessed to have found Matt when planning our wedding and he captured the most beautiful photographs. Working with Matt was a breeze. I highly recommend Matt Dartford Photography to anyone looking for a a high-quality, enjoyable experience. Matt has a great command of people, which really came in handy at my wedding at Dunston Hall Hotel - he was able to corale people into the right places at the right time in a positive manner. I was so impressed with his ability to capture both the standard formals and the natural photographs that look amazing. We all know how difficult it is to capture a nice, in the moment photo! Matt photographed our wedding and was a dream to work with. He was attentive to our requests, very enthusiastic, and a great communicator. On the day he really got to grips with the venue, took time to frame the family and friends shots we asked for, and slipped unobtrusively around us and our guests for the day to get some really beautiful pictures (which he sent us a bunch of as lovely prints - an unexpected gift!). We were so happy with his photos; neither of us is that comfy in front of a camera but he made us feel so at ease. Not only is he a great photographer, he’s a lovely guy too. Matt photographed our wedding at the beginning of December and I can honestly say he was brilliant and we adore the photos he took. Matt is amazing! Our wedding photos are what dreams are made of. Our treasured memories, are absolutely beautiful. Matt is effortless to work with, he is super friendly, fantastic communication and goes above and beyond. He helped with so much on the wedding morning, all whilst doing his actual job of taking beautiful photos! The vast amount of great photos we got was outstanding. Matt photographed our wedding in August and I can’t explain how pleased we are with the photos we received. We were looking for someone to capture all the small special parts of our day while allowing us to be relaxed and Matt did this.
