The Georgian Townhouse Wedding photographer

On the day Rachel got ready at home so I headed over there to capture those all-important morning of the wedding images. Rachel was on great form and looked amazing in a fitted satin off the shoulder dress that gave her an amazing silhouette in all of my images. Her long hair had been elegantly styled and she carried a gorgeous posy of pink flowers. Before heading off to the ceremony I captured a really special father seeing the bride moment.
The wedding ceremony was held at The Georgian Townhouse, in their Pembroke Room, that has its own bar and gardens. Rachel was walked down the aisle by her father to be greeted by Nick who looked very smart in a dark blue three-piece suit. It was a smallish wedding with approximately 50 guests. After a lovely service, Rachel and Nick walked back down the aisle husband and wife to rapturous applause from their guests.

There was then a fun confetti moment outside before everybody enjoyed a drinks reception before heading round to the plantation garden for a photoshoot. It was so fun to walk to Plantation Garden with all of the wedding guests for the photoshoot

One of the most beautiful locations for wedding photography in Norwich is Plantation Gardens. Rachel and Nick chose nearby Georgian Town House as their venue so that they could enjoy the benefits of a cosy and tasteful wedding venue alongside a stunning location for a romantic garden photoshoot.

Plantation Garden is a three-acre Grade II English Heritage registered garden established over 100 years ago. Known by the locals as ‘Norwich’s secret garden’ it’s tucked away beside a Roman Catholic Church and boasts a huge gothic fountain, flower beds, lawns, an Italianate terrace, a medieval terrace wall, woodland walkways, rustic bridges and a 10-metre-long Victorian-style greenhouse. It is simply a stunning location for a wedding photoshoot and I was spoilt for choice when it came to stunning backdrops in my images. Here, take a look!

After the plantation Garden, we cheekily snuck into the Roman Catholic church next door to capture a couple of images, it was well worth it as it produced one of my favourite images of the day.  Here, take a look!

Everybody then headed back to The Georgian Townhouse for the wedding reception. Speeches were before food which is always a good idea and were all very well received. And were followed by a delicious wedding breakfast prepared by The Georgian Townhouse’s team of talented in-house chefs.
Evening celebrations started with the cutting of a delicious looking wedding cake followed by a romantic first dance for Rachel and Nick. Not that they were on the dancefloor alone for long. Their guests were up for a party and it wasn’t long before guests were tearing up the dancefloor!
