I first met Angel and Andy a few months before their wedding when I photographed their engagement shoot. Within minutes of meeting them, I knew their wedding was going to be an absolute blast! They both had such a great sense of humor and knew exactly how they wanted their big day to unfold.
Like most full-day weddings, I arrived bright and early for the morning preparations. As soon as I rang the doorbell, I could already hear laughter and giggles filling the air. That’s when I knew—it was going to be a day packed with fun!
The atmosphere was just perfect. Everyone was buzzing around, helping with hair, dresses, and all the little details. Angel’s mom made an appearance, and you could see how proud she was of her daughter—cue the happy tears!
Once Angel was ready (and looking absolutely stunning, of course), we squeezed in a few snaps of the girls before hopping in my car and heading to Glen Lodge.
When I arrived at the venue, a few guests were already there, including Andy—looking impossibly cool with his shades and sharp suit. The groomsmen were having a great time, and just like at the house, everyone was buzzing with excitement!

Soon enough, Angel arrived, and guests started taking their seats outside. The sun was shining—hello, perfect summer wedding! The great British weather actually showed up for once! Glen Lodge looked absolutely breathtaking in the sunshine, with its gorgeous outdoor ceremony area. Honestly, you couldn’t ask for a better spot for wedding photos.
After a quick intro and the usual “dos and don’ts” from the registrar, the ceremony was about to kick off. Angel and her dad made their entrance, and Andy, being the kind of guy who wears his heart on his sleeve, got a little emotional. It was such a sweet moment!
The ceremony itself went off without a hitch and had all the right ingredients: laughter, tears, and two people totally in love.
And what’s a wedding without confetti?! The confetti moment is always a highlight—guests get to throw colorful happiness all around, and it makes for that quintessential wedding shot! With lots of laughter, confetti was tossed, and the awesome staff at Glen Lodge were already in full drink mode, making sure everyone had something bubbly in hand.
With no time to waste, we jumped into the group photos, and then it was time to sit down for food and speeches. Glen Lodge isn’t just stunning outside—the inside is just as dreamy. It’s a gorgeous mix of modern and rustic, with perfect lighting that makes any photo pop!
The speeches went off perfectly, and Angel and Andy even threw in a fun “Angel and Andy” quiz that had everyone cracking up and interacting.

With the speeches and dinner done, it was time to sneak out for some couple’s photos. Since Glen Lodge is also a golf course, we got to cruise around in a golf buggy (okay, not quite as flashy as Andy’s Subaru Impreza, but at least the buggy was the same color!).
You don’t have to venture far at Glen Lodge to find stunning spots. We spent most of our time near this gorgeous line of birch trees, where the light was absolutely perfect—it was like nature itself was setting up the best photo ops for us!
As the evening rolled in, the party kicked into high gear, and more guests arrived. It was time for the all-important cake cutting, followed by the even more important first dance! With everyone crowded around, all eyes were on Angel and Andy as they shared a beautifully tender moment on the dance floor.
And what came next? An absolute blast! The dance floor lit up, and Angel, Andy, and their guests didn’t disappoint—pulling off some seriously epic moves and dancing well into the night.
Soon enough, my time at Glen Lodge was wrapping up. It had been a truly spectacular wedding, packed with every magical moment you could hope for. Angel and Andy got the dream day they’d always wanted, and everyone had an unforgettable time.
