A stunning summer wedding at Norwich Castle

Nicola and Daniels intimate autumn Norwich Castle wedding in was a joy to capture.
They chose to have their wedding ceremony at Norwich Castle . This historically rich medieval royal fortification sits in the city centre and makes a fantastic backdrop for wedding photos. Nicola and Daniel were married in The Colman Art Gallery. A handsome room that displays Norwich School landscape paintings.
Nicola looked amazing in an off the shoulder lace dress that was cut to have a slight train at the back. She teamed it with a small bouquet of white flowers with green foliage. Daniel looked very smart in a grey check three-piece-suit. Nicola was walked down the aisle by her father.
After a lovely ceremony, we headed outside for a fun confetti moment. Before walking across the city to the wedding reception that was being held at St Andrews Brew House.
I used the walk as a mini photoshoot and got some really lovely images of Nicola and Daniel at some of Norwich’s most recognisable landmarks. The image I got of them on the zebra crossing on fashionable St Benedict’s Street was one of my favourites of the day. Here, take a look!
The best thing about city weddings is that couples often walk from their ceremony to their reception and the general public always stop to congratulate them. This was certainly the case for Nicola and Daniel which was hardly surprising as the people of Norwich are largely a lovely bunch!
Nicola and Daniel chose to have their intimate celebration at the uber cool St Andrews Brew House. This bar, restaurant and micro-brewery is a popular city watering hole that has a lively calendar of events. Nicola and Daniel had hired one of the upstairs function rooms that had been decorated beautifully. And they were warmly welcomed by their guests on arrival.
There followed some well received speeches before the food which is always a good idea so the speech givers can then relax. Speeches were followed by some delicious food provided by St Andrw Brew House’s talented chefs.
A friendly, chilled out and intimate city centre wedding for a lovely couple. Congratulations to Nicola and Daniel for getting married and thank you for allowing me to tell the story of it.
