Josh & Callum had the most epic wedding — spread over two days, it was nothing short of amazing. A same-sex celebration done entirely on their own terms, full of colour, pride, personality, and an absolute refusal to stop the party after just one day.
Day one kicked off with the ceremony at the beautiful Shire Hall in Woodbridge, Suffolk — and what a setting it is. Built in 1575 and standing proud in the centre of Market Hill, this magnificent 16th Century Grade I listed building has been a focal point of Woodbridge for almost 450 years. Its iconic 17th Century Flemish gabling, stone capping, and elegant wrought iron staircases curving either side of the grand arched doors make it one of those venues that just photographs beautifully at every angle. Inside, the airy Council Chamber with its splendid architectural columns gave the whole ceremony a real sense of occasion — grand but not stuffy, historic but full of warmth.
The ceremony itself had everything you’d want — loads of glorious sunshine, colourful pride flags absolutely everywhere, and an atmosphere that was joyful from the very first moment. Those iconic stone steps out front made for the perfect group photo, and with the whole of Market Hill as a backdrop, there was no shortage of great locations to work with.
From there it was onto a classic vintage red double-decker bus — always a good sign — over to Arlington’s in Ipswich for the reception. Located in one of the most beautiful and iconic buildings in the heart of the city, Arlington’s is a remarkable venue that seamlessly blends exceptional food with a visually stunning setting. Bright, airy spaces, charming floral arrangements, and enchanting skylights give the whole place a wonderfully unique feel, and with capacity for up to 240 guests across The Darwin Room, Cocktail Bar, Palm Court, and Gallery, it’s the kind of venue that genuinely knows how to throw a party. Thanks to some fantastic live music the celebrations continued well into the night — but Josh and Callum weren’t done just yet.
Fast forward to day two, and the boys wanted to completely ditch the wedding vibe and go full-on party mode. They’d booked Venue 16 in Ipswich — a really cool, contemporary space that ticked every single box. From the moment the doors opened it was non-stop dancing and non-stop fun. No formalities, no schedule, just two days of celebrating done exactly how they wanted.
