Laura and Tom’s wedding at Godwick Hall was nothing short of magical. From the early morning preparations to the joyous festivities, every moment was filled with love, laughter, and a touch of Halloween spirit.
The day began with both Laura and Tom, along with their wedding party, getting ready at the picturesque Godwick Hall – A stunning barn venue in North Norfolk, ideal for wedding photos! Despite Laura’s slight delay due to traffic, the anticipation only heightened the excitement. Tom’s reaction upon seeing Laura in her stunning dress was priceless, nearly bringing a tear to his eye.
The ceremony had its moments too – with one of the younger wedding guests running up to hug laura during the ceremony. So cute!
with the ceremony over all the guests spilled outside for confetti and group photos. Despite the late October date, the sun was out in full force. Warming everyone up and adding to the rustic vibes and tones of the day.
Back at Godwick Hall, guests were treated to some amazing food, followed by the speeches that left no dry eye in the room. During the speaches we where given a surprise appearance from Laura’s brother, dressed as a giant banana – Its not something you see everyday!
Usuauly after the speaches this is a good time to take the couple out for some candid couplesphotos – I always like to keep the process simple and let the couple just be themselves. Godwick is blessed with many lovely spots but perhaps the most iconic is the old ruin, which is a lovely centrepont to the whole venue. And, if youre the couple getting there is as easy as hoping on the back of an old vintage tractor! Me on the other hand…..well, got to get those steps in!
As the sun began to set, the evening guests arrived to join in the celebration. The cutting of the cake marked the beginning of a night filled with laughter, , drink, and some killer dancing from Toms mum. We finished the evening with an epic sparkler photo, which is always a good laugh, trying to get everyone lit and nailing it all at the same time! and some last-minute portraits lit against the barn lights.
