Iris & Lewis’s wedding had it all, some stunning summer sun, lots of laughs, a few tears, and some fantastic dance moves on the dance floor! A perfect wedding day and a perfect wedding venue of Reymerston Hall.
Reymerston Hall is one of those venues that does a lot of the work for you. A Georgian manor house sitting in twelve acres of Norfolk countryside, just a short drive from Norwich — it’s got the grand front door, the sweeping staircase, the courtyard, the rustic barn, the gorgeous gardens, and a cedar tree that was clearly put there specifically for wedding portraits. It’s exclusive use too, which means on your wedding day, the whole place is yours.
I love shooting here because the variety is genuinely brilliant. You’ve got the elegance of the manor house interior for ceremony shots and candids during the drinks reception, then you step outside and suddenly you’ve got open countryside, a woodland area, a pond, and that golden Norfolk light in the late afternoon. Whether the weather plays ball or not, there’s always somewhere that works.
Iris and Lewis had one of those wedding days that just flows — relaxed, full of laughter, and with a dancefloor that didn’t empty until the very end. The summer light at Reymerston in the evening is something else, and we made the most of it.
