Charlotte & Dylan

Swanton Morley House Wedding Photographer

I arrived early at Swanton Morley House, greeted by a flurry of activity as morning preparations were in full swing. Charlotte was accompanied by her mum and mother of the groom, and the air was filled with high spirits and infectious laughter. It was a wonderfully relaxed way to start the day.

As the morning progressed, Dylan arrived, followed closely by guests. It was heartwarming to see the excited reunions, with several guests clearly thrilled to see Dylan after a long time. However, there wasn’t much time for socialising—there was a wedding waiting to happen afterall!

The ceremony room at Swanton Morley House is stunning—a spacious and beautifully bright room adorned with stunning wildflowers. The atmosphere was perfect for the special occasion.

Dylan stood at the head of the aisle, anxiously waiting for Charlotte and her dad to make their entrance. As Charlotte walked down the aisle, emotions ran high with a few tears closely followed by laughter—exactly what weddings are all about.

The ceremony was smooth and heartfelt, featuring some beautiful readings and personalized vows. Before we knew it, Charlotte and Dylan were pronounced husband and wife!

Following the ceremony, everyone headed outside for one of my favorite parts of the day: the confetti Photos! You never quite know how couples will react, but Charlotte and Dylan nailed it, providing some of my favorite photos of the day.

With the formalities behind them, the couple and their guests were noticeably more relaxed. We moved to the back of the venue, away from the harsh direct light, for group shots followed by couples photos. The grounds at Swanton Morley House are breathtaking, offering lush greenery and charming rustic spots perfect for wedding photography.

fter the couples’ portraits, it was time to head back inside for speeches and the reception meal. The atmosphere was filled with joy and laughter, with cute kids adding to the fun.

As the evening progressed, Charlotte and Dylan cut their cake and took to the dance floor for their first dance. It was a delightful mix of dance and laughter. You cant take these things too seriously!

As my time at Swanton Morley House came to an end, the sun was setting, casting a golden glow over the beautiful venue. It was the perfect moment for some last-minute photos with the couple outside, capturing the magical end to a truly special day.

Charlotte and Dylan’s wedding was a beautiful celebration of love, laughter, and joy. Swanton Morley House provided the perfect backdrop for their unforgettable day, and I felt privileged to capture these precious moments.
