After checking several photographers websites we were really pleased with what we saw when we came across Matt’s. The way that he had captured the groups and couples in his... read more pictures was just what we were looking for and thus we got in touch. Matt came across incredibly professional but also very friendly and easy to talk to. Discussions were had over the phone due to the Covid restrictions at the time, but even though we were unable to meet until nearer our wedding date Matt remained available to our questions and to give advice. Meeting in person a couple of weeks before the wedding Matt made us feel very comfortable and at ease - not something that was easy for us as neither my wife or I are particularly fond of having our photo taken, but the way he planned to proceed with angles, his presence on the day etc put us at ease. In the build up to the wedding we had concerns about photo opportunities that would be available due to limitations with building work taking place at our venue so Matt went down to visit the location in his own time to scope it out and look at what was available to make the most of it. On our wedding day Matt was so much more than just our photographer - he was a PA, checking on the schedule with the venue, keeping things running to order, locating guests for photos etc. He was always available for any request, stayed with us and our guests for more of the day than we could ever have expected and did so unobtrusively, just blending in with the background. Matt's preference was for not too many formal shots, but we did ask for a selection and the quality of them were superb. We were delighted with the outcome. The candid photos were wonderful to look through on our online gallery that was with us incredibly quickly after the wedding. His eye for detail and the shots he thought to take were lovely. To complete our experience we were delighted when we received our USB in a wonderful personalised presentation box that also contained hard copies of our photos. We were delighted to find Matt and would highly recommend and would definitely use for any future family events.

On the day he was so brilliant - he really made me and the groom feel relaxed the whole time, and took loads of photos of our friends and family having a great time, as well as things like the formal photos, ceremony and speeches, which was exactly what we wanted. I normally feel really uncomfortable having my picture taken and hate how I look in them, but he made me feel really at ease and not awkward, even during the prep when I was having make up done. We really love the photos he took, they bring back so many great memories of the day. Can't recommend him highly enough! Thanks Matt.
